Prepare effectively for your theory exams
During a brush-up course, you review the key topics from your module together with an Orbit instructor. You can ask questions, revisit specific topics and prepare effectively for your theory exams.
Only for Orbit Groundschool students
Brush-up courses are exclusively for students completing their theory training with Orbit Groundschool. If you only take your Austro Control exams at Orbit but complete your theory training with another training provider, you cannot participate in our brush-up courses.
What is a brush-up course?
A brush-up course is an interactive online session designed to help you prepare for your theory exams. Together with an instructor, you review key topics from the relevant module and discuss areas that need extra attention.
Requirements for participation
Before you can participate, you must have completed the relevant module within your Orbit training to the required standard.
- The required quizzes must be completed with a score of 100% .
- The relevant progress tests must be passed with a minimum score of 75% .
- You can attend a maximum of one module per brush-up week .
- You must meet all participation requirements by the stated registration deadline.

Practical information
Brush-up courses are delivered live online. Please keep the following practical points in mind when planning.
Live online
You will attend the sessions online. Make sure you have a computer or laptop with a stable internet connection, webcam and headset.
Final schedule
The final schedule will be available no later than one week before the start of the brush-up course.
Keep Saturday available
Please also keep the following Saturday available as a possible reserve or make-up day in case of unforeseen schedule changes.
